Sms Providers

A Sms Provider allows The Identity Hub to send text messages to users. This can for instance be used for Multi Factor Authentication.

The Identity Hub has one out-of-the-box Sms Provider Twilio.

If you want to use your own mobile operator and contract see Custom Sms Provider.

Activate Twilio Sms Provider

  1. Navigate to the URL of your The Identity Hub installation and sign in as Hub or Tenant Admin.
  2. In the left navigation click Services.
  3. Click on Configure Sms Provider
  4. Click on the icon of Twilio
  5. You will have to supply the configuration parameters Account Sid, Auth Token and Phone Number. See Twilio to get a Twilio account.
  6. Click Save.
